I Have Bad News, And Good News – A Necessary Decision, Not Made Lightly

It may seem ridiculous in light of the most recent posting lauding the virtues of the upcoming video, but I have made a decision regarding not only the upcoming video, but other issues that have been long simmering on the back burner.

Unfortunately, I was optimistic about production time, especially as the project has kept evolving, and I have had to make this hard but necessary decision to further delay the video release.

The reasons are several:

The Power Of The Pivot – You Will Likely Never Need Another Swing Video

My apologies for the time it’s taking to finish this video project, “MCS – The Power Of The Pivot” – here is the thing that’s causing the delays, and it’s not necessarily a bad thing.

I devised the pivot drills last summer when I thought that there might be an easier way to show and teach the optimal pivot action, but something happened along the way.

Will Zalatoris Continues Down The Tiger Woods Disaster Track

We’ve already been here, over 3 and a half years ago, when I mentioned that Will Zalatoris was going to miss the rest of the 2023 season following back surgery.

Seve Ballesteros’ Setup DTL (A+)

This short clip of Seve Ballesteros hitting a drive at the Masters, and I had to grab it to show you all how it used to be done, and how it should still be done!

The Down Swing – Out to Square Then In

As I’m working through the “MCS – Power Of The Pivot” video for release this month, I am at a point in the swing where I explain how the natural motion of a mechanically-sound golf swing doesn’t require one to “swing left” or to try to pull the club to the inside.

It’s very simple, but the Modern Golf Swing people don’t seem to realize that – they think that Ben Hogan’s “swing left” move was some magical move, when all it was designed to do was let him fade the ball rather than hook it like he was wont to do.

Still Here – Latest Update, Video Expansion

I’m just updating the progress on the video with regards to what’s done and what remains to be done.

Frustratingly, I have had less time to work on the final production due to life’s events intruding – the best laid plans of mice and men, essentially.

I’m sure this is no surprise to long-time WAX Golf members – I have a habit of under-estimating how long the video will take to produce, and the only thing I can use in my defense is that when the videos come out, I am told that they were worth the wait.
