I thought I’d put the same four swings from the last post together, in slo-mo this time, to showcase how identical the mechanics are for any club from wedge to Driver.
The setups are the same except for the ball position relative to the club, and the pivot actions are the same.
Once you’ve gotten your MCS Golf Swing model down, it is easy to maintain your swing sharpness and you won’t require hours daily on the range to do so.
I haven’t done this before – here are 4 clubs (9i, 7i, 5i and Driver) in succession, in real time, with face-on and down the line views, so you can see and contrast the one swing with different clubs.
With the MCS Golf Swing, just as Jack Nicklaus instructed with his “Golf My Way” many years back, you have basically the same setup and swing for all clubs.
I’ve just uploaded some irons swings from the same date as the down the line swings I shot back in August of 2022.
Now, I had said that I loved the setup viewed down the line and the face-on, not so much – however, upon review, it’s not so much the setup that I didn’t love, rather the pivot action.
I have just uploaded a swing clip of myself hitting three irons down the line from August 16, 2022.
The setup, I have to say, is absolutely nailed, at least from the down the line view.
Face on, I am not in love with because of the work I’ve done in the intervening 2.5 years, but I have nothing to pick at with this view.
