Congrats Rory – Repeat Masters Champion

You all know I don’t watch much televised golf these days, but I tuned in to the final round of the Masters today to watch Rory McIlroy and see if he could repeat as Masters Champion after 17 attempts and win a second major since his last in 2014.

Of course, the Masters is much easier to watch – no annoying buffoons yelling “Get in the hole!” on tee shots, and the best part – four minutes of commercials per hour.

My First Rory McIlroy Clips – And Congrats Rors!

As you know from my posting yesterday, I was rooting for Rory McIlroy to win the Masters and complete his career Grand Slam porfolio.

Mission accomplished, and I’ll tell you why I have always rooted for Rory – he was the first pro golfer whose swing I posted on YouTube way back in 2009 when I was very early into my golf swing research.

Will It Be Bryson Or Rory Today?

It’s very likely that the winner today will come from the last grouping with Rory McIlroy and Bryson DeChambeau topping the leaderboard.

I would say that I’ve posted about this duo more than any other active golfers besides Tiger Woods in recent years, so it’s a WAX Golf special, this last group.

Tiger Woods Is Still So Good…

He literally shot -1 on one leg on Thursday and don’t let the +2 round yesterday fool you – after not playing in a Tour event in a year and a half, another back surgery and a shattered right leg, the man has scored better than all but 18 players thus far.

Granted it’s Augusta National where he could play blind-folded in the dark, but come on.
