If this guy gives lessons or sells a “system,” anyone coming down with a back or leading knee injury should sue his pants off, because he is committing the most blatant fraud I have yet to see regarding Ben Hogan and the golf swing that I have recently seen.

It’s absolutely unbelievable what people will say and do and attach “Ben Hogan” to whatever idiocy they are submitting, and I can’t have this pass through my Instagram feed without comment.

Sometimes, you just can’t be quiet.

First of all, take a look at this monstrosity:

I would say that one person knowing about it would be one too many, because look at this:

• Shoulders completely perpendicular to the ground rather than square to the target line (red line),
• Hyperextended left or leading knee (yellow arrows) and
• Straining upper back and shoulders to reach this position (orange arrow).

Now, I challenge ANYONE on this planet to find one single instance of Ben Hogan being in this position at impact.

• Shoulders square or just slightly open (green arrow) and
• A flexed leading knee, not hyperextended.

This Instagram “guru” is either living in an alternate universe or he is an out and out fraud – there are no other options.

And look at his own impact position when he actually hits a ball – apparently, he doesn’t have a monitor to check his positions, he just shoots video and uploads it without looking:

• No hyperextended leading knee, even post-impact.

So, a completely bogus claim that this “drill” has anything to do with Ben Hogan and in addition to telling people to do something will risk injury just doing it, he doesn’t even hit anything close to those positions with his own swing.

So, clueless and a fraud, or an out and out fraud, which one is it?
