While attempting to finish this video in a timely manner (I thought at the beginning of August that it would be completed in the next two to three weeks), I am more concerned with getting it exactly the way I think it needs to be for simplicity’s sake.

The problem I have run into is that, although the pivot drills are pretty basic (at least, I hope so), the explanations are more complicated than one would think.

I was getting through it with no issues, I thought, when I realized watching one part, “Wait, I have to explain this part a little more thoroughly,” and then I would watch another completed part and say the same thing.

It would be easy, but more confusing, to simply add these thoughts or explanations at the end, but it wouldn’t be logical nor chronological, so I’ve gone back to re-edit and re-explain certain parts, especially the ones in the beginning.

Another issue is that, it’s one thing to have shot video and to have planned out the entire presentation, but then once working on it, things come suddenly to mind that hadn’t even been in the original mix that just can’t be left out, and it’s back to a segment that’s already been completed, for a re-edit.

I don’t mind that, except it has stretched out the time for completion, but I would rather get it the way I think it should be than to just push through and finish.

Yes, I am a bit of a perfectionist, I know.

The work continues and I am hoping to have everything wrapped up by Labor Day.
