Tiger Woods’ Health & Club Speed (Update – “Ice Baths?!?”

Update Below The Fold – And It Isn’t Good News **

I guess anyone watching the weekend’s WGC Bridgestone Invitational noticed that the announcers seems to be focused on Tiger Woods and his apparent stiffness, lack of energy and other things on the weekend.

I will admit that I only saw much of him on Thursday, because the weekend had me busy with family things and working on the “MCS – The Kinetic Chain” video.

Video: How Quiet Is A 330 Yard Drive Swing When It’s MCS?

I have a swing on video from the May session at TXG Golf that didn’t make it into the 5 drive series that I compiled to look at the Launch Monitor specs, this one being from my “warm-up.”

It was actually one of my longer drive carries, at 307 yards, and I just wanted to show how “quiet” a swing is when you leverage it properly.

Using the Body & Not The Arms (Updated)

batmcsOriginally Post April 16, 2015 – very relevant with the upcoming “EMCS2 – Follow Up” video, updated at Bottom

125 MPH Club Speed? Come On…

dj imp momentusI had to relinquish my title of “Longest Driver I Know Personally,” last week down in East Texas, because I couldn’t keep up with Blake when he got going with that leveraged swing.

I’ve got him by probably 80 lbs (35 kilos), but he’s producing so much power that I’d have to start working out again to match him (as in swing work, not gym work…).

Dustin Johnson’s Ball Speed

dustin numbersUpdated With Newer Swing Clip From June 11

I must confess, I’ll never lose that drive for the maximum distance and power, because I’ve always been a power swinger.

What I set out to figure out, around ten years ago, was how to make that power more consistent and repeatable, so that I could keep the ball in play and, even better, out of trouble with missed shots.
