I can’t believe I found them, but I did indeed – not the published videos that I released in past years, but the raw, unedited video that I shot when I was creating those published videos for release.

This is massive – I have been lamenting how I was having a devil of a time watching and taking clips from the finished videos, but I went digging today through my boxes of assorted computer “stuff” (I am a bit of a hoarder when it comes to certain things), on a hunch, and I found an old hard drive that contains most of my old raw video footage – I’ve just hooked it up to see what was on it, and I struck gold.

I have the raw video from other videos as well, but these two (“E = MCS” and “Kinesiology Of The MCS Golf Swing”) were probably my two best videos, in my opinion, for explaining the entire setup and mechanics of the MCS Golf Swing.

This video project just took off, and I now have the material that I was sorely lacking trying to complete it – I could very likely finish it starting with this raw video, even faster than it was taking me doing it with trying to filter through half a dozen “finished” videos that I felt were outdated.

MCS Golf Swing video fans, buckle up!  With my new concepts, the archived swings demonstrating the Ben Hogan Perfect Pivot action:

I should be able to power through the production this week and get it out to everyone.

If you all knew how absolutely stoked I was to find this “lost footage” video in the old hard drive, I think you’d be excited as well.

In fact, watching the raw video from “Kinesiology of the MCS Golf Swing,” I am reminded of some concepts and explanations that I really would love to include in this video.

With my new insights on the swing and the pivot, this should be my best MCS swing video ever, and without ever having shot a new tutorial, which is what I really wanted to do – there is so much that ended up on the cutting room floor back then that is now relevant…

Anyways, I’ll leave it here now, because I am diving back into the raw videos with my bullet-list of everything I wanted to include in this video, and I am smiling.

The delays caused by participating in the upcoming podcast with Josh Karp, the difficulties in parsing the completed videos that were giving me heartburn – all seemed to be functioning to delay this project until I decided on a whim to dig through a couple of boxes in storage to find all of this.

The video I would have made without this, would have paled (in my opinion) to what is coming.

The length of time getting this out has frustrated many, I’m sure – but this development will have made it worth the wait – I am sure of this.

Back to the videos I go.
