I haven’t had this much with the golf swing in some time, if ever at all in the 13+ years of my swing research journey.
That’s because I’m finally getting around to the task of perfecting my own swing, which I’ve tried to do before but never had the time due to ongoing research or working with other swingers.
I’m still working with other swingers, but the bulk of the time I used to spend looking at the swing to find ways to improve it… is now time I can devote to my own swing, because the MCS Golf Swing theory, I’ve been proving, is complete and doesn’t need any revision or adjustment.
The last one was the revelation that one didn’t need to angle one’s stance line if one simply found their personal swing bottom and set their ball position to that, rather than setting the ball on the leading heel line for the driver and then trying to make the swing bottom occur there.
Square Stance Line
Since that discovery, made during the late winter months last year, I have found nothing to adjust, because the pivot motion is so simple (based on Ben Hogan’s “perfect pivot” action) that once you have the proper fundamentals in place (Grip, Ball Position & Stance), you just have to swing.
So, I initially thought that I had my optimal swing motion nailed, but as you all know, I’ve been looking at my top position in the back swing pivot and I know that it’s something I can adjust, which I’ve been doing.
This…
Versus That…
All I have left to do, really, is take the lower body action from the “That” picture and add it to the “This” upper body position above it… and there you go, “Big Legs, Little Arms” all the way!
I will have some things to share with you all as well when I’m closer to finishing the upcoming “MCS -Project 2018” video, as I had promised that 2018 was going to be a different year in several ways.
The late start to the season has delayed things but rest assured, I’m on it.

If You Answered “Yes” To Any Of The Above Questions, The Answer Is In The Formula For The Golf Swing:
OK, so I must have missed something along the way. How do you find your personal swing bottom?
You certainly didn’t, Uncle JJ! You have the “E = MCS” video and the setup procedure finds it for you – if you’ve forgotten that part, it’s at the 5:00 mark of Part II, in the Fundamentals Trifecta segment.
The procedure that helps you determine your Driver ball position…that’s where your swing bottom is… so you’re good to go if you’re following it. 😀
Your hips do not appear to be turned as far on the shortened backswing.
Correct, RH – as I mention in the previous posting:
And again above in this posting:
All part of the process of making changes.
